For students in grades 4-6 and a special adult in their life.
In this multi-generational group, we will discuss the book, A Time for Courage: The Suffragette Diary of Kathleen Bowen, Washington, D.C.1917, by Kathryn Lasky, in honor of the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote and in conjunction with One Community Read, Palaces for the People. A historical interpreter from the League of Women Voters, dressed as a suffragette will also be joining our discussion. Members will need to place a hold through CLEVNET to receive a copy of the book.
